About Bay Area Math Tutoring
Bay Area Math Tutoring was founded in 2021 to support students who need individualized, high-quality academic help. Our tutors are current students and graduates of top California universities, including Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, and others. They bring a unique perspective, having recently completed many of the same courses we tutor and earned top scores. Our tutors have performed in the 99th percentile on the SAT and earned perfect scores on their AP exams.
We have worked with students across the Bay Area in a wide range of subjects, including elementary and middle school math, precalculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and SAT and ACT preparation. We also support non-math subjects such as creative writing and science.
Our tutoring focuses on a hands-on approach. Instead of passive learning, we guide students to actively work through problems, develop their own problem-solving strategies, and build lasting confidence, with tutors providing guidance throughout the way.
